Piece-Meal D&D · Classless
Forget classes. Set how much experience you've earned, then spend it on any mix of pieces. At level 1 you have 100 — enough for a signature or two. The powerful ideas (Extra Attack, higher-level spells) cost real earned XP, so you literally can't buy them until you've leveled up. You can't have it all — that's the point.
The shared basics — your body and training. Fixed prices.
Signature pieces from every class, deduplicated. Level-1 picks are cheap; higher-level pieces cost their real earned XP.
